Open Color Tools is a team effort of the precious design studio and flowbyte (Florian Munz and Jan Krutisch).

Together we’re constantly trying to improve the tooling we use as designers and developers. This is why we created Open Color tools: to support working with meaningful color and make exploration and collaboration easier.

Open Color Tools is a collection of tools: It comes with palette management, a built-in editor, beautiful views, a custom color picker panel and sketch integration. They rely on an open file format to describe color palettes, including sematics and context. We’ll publish the specification and open source libraries to parse and render these open color palettes.
